The Black Stars of Ghana has suffered defeat by 4-1 to Japan during the Kirin tournament on June 10 2022.
Head Coach Otto Addo lined up a depleted Black Stars team to face their foes after a series of setbacks within the team.
The Japanese scored their first goal at the end of 29th minutes, through Yamane after he had connected a defensive-splitting pass from a teammate.
Jordan Ayew levelled for Ghana in the 44th minute, when He scored a stunning goal to end his drought of goals in the Ghana national team.

This Black Stars’ goal did not last long, as the Japanese scored just before the end of halftime, making it 2-1 through Mitoma.
It was a pity that the Black Stars failed to respond to the goal, and the Japanese scored another goal in the 73rd minute following an offensive error by the Black Stars.
Japan’s Maeda scored 4-1 to end the Black Stars’ hope of the comeback. He scored in the 84th minute with a goal to complete an impressive day by the Japanese.
The loss means Black Stars will now play Chile for a third-place finish on Tuesday, 14th of June 2022.
